The last one (FINALLY!!!)

Hello everyone, this is the last blog of this semester and his topic is about my experience writting blogs in English during this semester.

Well in general I think this is a good method to improve our skills to write in this language because we need to create and talk-write about topics with cohesion and make this blogs understandable and attractive for who is gonna read them. Almost for me it was so useful 'cause I learned new words, I started to make long sentences and to understand more this language, despite of in the beginning of this activity I didn't like it, with the pass of the time-blogs it makes so interesting and more funny for me, because is cool write about me or things that I like in English and read-comment the blogs of my classmates and know things about them. I think my writting skills are better after this activity, it help me so much with my English. I think this experience was enriching for my personal grow and I think it would help me in a future.

Probably if this activity is gonna repeat in the future, I would like to talk about more free topics because I think we can be more expressive and obviously express more things in this language with more facility

Dreamed vacation and my study tour

The blog of this week is about travels...

In this blog I gonna talk about my dreamed vacation and my study tour.

I like the Winter and the cold places so probably my dreamed vacation would be in  a cold place like the South of Chile or a long trip in another countries like England, Switzerland, Finland, Norway. This countries have many beautiful places (for what I have seen in photos) with mountains, lakes and gorgeus views. Another option of a dreamed vacation would be in Italy, I like so much this country probably for his food, I love the pizza and the spaghetti and I think this is the better place to eat them right?

For my study tour in the first part of that I went to the South of Chile so I knew some places like Puerto Varas, Valdivia and Frutillar. Valdivia is a beautiful city so probably it will be the perfect place for me, in the future I would like to live in this city. The second part of the study tour was in Argentina, specifically in Bariloche, I didn´t like so much this place, 'cause it's so expensive and almost for me it was like to be in Santiago.

A Subject I've enjoyed this semester

Hello everyone, the blog of this week is about a subject that I have enjoyed this first semester in the university...

Well to initiate this blog I need to mention the differents subjects that I have this semester, the subjects are: General Chemistry I, Mechanics, Calculus Introduction, English III, General Laboratory Techniques and The Pharmaceutical and his action. 

Of this six subjects, my favourite this semester was General Laboratory Techniques 'cause for me is so interesting and funny work with laboratory materials like pippetes, burettes, test tubes, different chemicals like acids, salts, bases, etc. and do some reactions using this materials.


This subject is theorical and practical, the first hour is a theorical class and the rest is practical in the laboratory and in my opinion the practical part of the subject is the most interesting 'cause in the laboratory we can learn and apply our knowledge about the Chemistry, not only in the class room or in tests. 

I like the other subjects too, except for Calculus (I hate the maths), Mechanics and General Chemistry are so interesting, English will be useful for us in the future and The Pharmaceutical and his action is a very important subject to know about the work and the importance of the Pharmaceutical in the society 

Ernest Rutherford

Hello everyone, the blog of today is about one of the most famous chemist, Ernest Rutherford.

Ernest Rutherford born on August 30th of 1871 in Brightwater,New Zeland. He was a chemist and a physicist, known for his studies about the radioactivity and the disintrigation of the elements, he won a Nobel Prize for this investigations. Rutherford is known also for his atomic model and for the investigation in which he discovered the existence of the nucleus. He was the first person who do the transmutation of an element, in that experiment, Rutherford used alpha radiation (a particle oh Helium) to convert Nitrogen into Oxygen.

The experiment in which he discovered the nucleus and his most famous work consisted on a gold foil irradiated with alpha particles (positive particles), some of this particles were deflected and his interpretation of that experiment was that a small positive charged nucleus was located in the center, orbited by electrons.   

Personally I like and I admire this chemist-physicist because I like the things related to the radioactivity and to the nuclear chemistry and he was one of the first scientist to investigate this areas. 

Animes and Cartoons

Hello everyone, the blog of today is about my favourite anime, Naruto.

Naruto is an anime based on the manga created in 1999 by Masashi Kishimoto, and  the story is about an adolescent ninja called Naruto Uzumaki who wants to become in a Hokage, the leader and sometimes the most powerful ninja of their hidden village. But in his trip, Naruto will have to fight against with his fears, his sad and loneliness past and other powerful ninjas.


The reason why is my favourite anime is because I think it have a lot of lessons like the importance of the friendship, no surrender against the difficulties  and the most important almost for me, fight for our dreams and do everything for make them real. Other reason why I like this anime is for his music, some tracks are so relaxing.

I like other animes like Dragon Ball, Bleach, One Piece, SAO, Shingeki No Kyojin but Naruto is my favourite. I like cartoons too, my favourite cartoons are CatDog and Invasor Sim, I watched them when I was a child so they are a part of my infancy

I like this photo because I'm with my friends of the school, this photo was taked by one of my best friend Bastián, with the smartphone of another friend, Cristobal. This picture was taked near the Costanera, in Providencia a year ago in a day that I don't remember  'cause that afternoon we got so drank and high.



This is other of my favourite pictures, this photo was taked in my school after a play in English when I was in 2nd year of highschool, I remember that play was funny 'cause my friend in this photo had to act like a woman  so we laughed a lot during the play.



And this is the picture that I like the most, this photo was taked in "El Tabo" a year ago. This photo is so important for me 'cause I'm with my class and with my best friends. This photo have something special, during that weekend Chile was champion of America :).

I like the Psychedelic Rock

The blog of today is about the music so first what´s the music for me? Well, the music is something very important in my days, I can leave home without my earphones and my smartphone to play it. I listen to music all the way between my house and the university so if I leave my home without my earphones for some reason, I get bored a lot.

My parents gave me my first MP3 player when I was 9 years old and I remember that I fulled this player with reggaeton (WTF!).

When I was 11 one day I listened a concert of Keane, a british band of Alternative Rock and for that moment I prefer the music in English. Before that I started to listen bands like Coldplay, Radiohead, U2, Depeche Mode and many others. Years later I started to listen Metal and Hardcore, I listened this genres of music for like two years.

Nowadays my favourite genres of music are the Alternative Rock and the Psychedelic Rock, my favourite bands are the Arctic Monkeys and Tame Impala but I listen some others like Muse, The Strokes, Pond, Twenty One Pilots, The Beatles and the bands that I mentioned before. But I don´t listen only music in English, I like chilean rock bands like Los Prisioneros, Los Bunkers, Los Tres and La Ley.
